When does the Bargain Bus operate?

We operate the bargain Bus Tour on the following dates:  Saturday 14th June, Saturday 26th July, Saturday 16th August, Saturday 6th September, Sunday 19th October, Saturday 8th November & Saturday 6th December in 2008.

If these dates don't suit you we may be able to join you on to an existing group tour however the price will differ.

What is included on the Bargain Bus tour?

Comfortable coach transport, experienced driver, friendly hostess and the opportunity to win raffle prizes.  We will visit a minimum of 10 factory outlets covering a variety of top brand stock categories.

How many people do I need to join the tour?

There is no minimum or maximum number of people required.  If you are able to get a group of 25 or more adults together our Deluxe Tour is more suited to you.

When does the tour start and finish?

The usual pick up times are between 7.00am - 8.00am and returning around 6.30 - 7.00pm.  The further from Melbourne you meet the bus the earlier the pick up.

Where do we meet the bus?

We offer convenient pick ups throughout the outer Melbourne Suburbs and inner city area such as Melton, Deer Park, Parkville, Ferntree Gully, Burwood, Mulgrave, Abbotsford, Craigieburn, Campbellfield, Coburg and the City.  Further pick ups are being planned from country towns in 2009.

What meals are included?

The Bargain Bus does not include any meals in the tour price.  However we will make a stop at a food court for you to purchase your own lunch (at own expense).

Do we get to choose the outlets we want to visit?

No.  The itinerary is pre-set by Melbourne Shopping to include a variety of our most popular factory outlets.  If you can get a group of 25 or more adults together you can have your own private tour and choose your own outlets on our Deluxe Tour.

Are the discounts worthwhile?

You will be visiting the warehouses of the manufacturers, wholesalers and importers so you can expect between 20% to 85% off retail prices?

How many factory outlets do we visit in a day?

You will visit 10 to 12 factory outlets but often we visit many more on the day.

Can I fundraise on the Bargain Bus tour?

Fundraising is not applicable on the Bargain Bus Tour.

What other events do you have for individuals apart from your tours?

Whether for fundraising or just for fun we have our Exclusive Closed-Door Sales.
